Appreciate you writing that. Me and my lad have had nothing for a season and a half now. I’m pleased the club is so well supported but sometimes I wish it was still the 80s and you could just turn up and pay on the gate!

Looks fantastic. Only put off it because Jean McOnville’s son objected to it. He’s a good man and has contributed to several documentaries. Not sure how I feel about it being dramatised after hearing him speak about what his family went through.

We’re still laughing from a couple of weeks ago when Szobo cleared the ball and the commentator said “that’s gone into row Z - from a player with a Z in his name”. Incredible insight.

I assume broadcasters think we like what they do cos viewing figures are high when obviously we’d watch whatever - but it could be so much more enjoyable. I don’t need some prick constantly describing what happened five minutes ago.

I pray for the day all channels give the option of crowd noise only. The anger at co-commentators distracts me from the game.
