Not to mention, in both cases the people in control of it have a vested interest in getting as many ppl as possible to destroy their lives, including the seeming healthy ones.
This tech needs to be sharply regulated ASAP, or the damage to society will be significant.

LLMs need to be approached like gambling. Are both safe if used responsibly? Sure.
But we know that a small but significant portion of the population is mentally not equipped to engage responsibly with it. It's not their fault. But in both cases they're at risk of having their lives destroyed.
