Generous that, even the ones that were clearly our way haven’t gone that way!

He’s been really off it too.

You can see how much he loves Villa, just a shame he has done what he’s done since.
McGinn though is a proper legend.

Thought it was well done this. Thoroughly enjoyable.

He did. And then trademarked it.

Long way to go, lots to do, but keep at Emery’s almost 2 points per game and we probably make it 🤞(7)

The Bottom Line
The dream is alive, but it’s fragile. Lose at Palace, Chelsea, and United, and the pressure shifts to home turf. Villa have to make Villa Park a fortress and pick off the winnable aways. (6)

The Big Six Factor
Villa don’t need to beat everyone, but they do need to beat someone. One win from Arsenal, Spurs, or Liverpool at Villa Park could be the difference between fifth and sixth. Two wins? That’s Champions League territory. (5)

The Must-Win List
• Home bankers: Wolves, Forest, Everton, Brentford, Leeds, West Ham, Sunderland.
• Away opportunities: Leeds, Bournemouth, Burnley, Fulham. That’s the foundation. Anything less and we’re chasing shadows. (4)

If Palace is a defeat and we struggle away at Chelsea and United, Villa could be sitting on 64 points come May – short of the Champions League cut. To bridge that gap, we need statement wins at home. Matches against Arsenal, Tottenham, and Liverpool become non-negotiable. These are swing games. (3)

That means Villa need around 52 more points from 27 games – roughly 1.9 points per game. In short, we need to turn good form into relentless consistency. (2)

Not the emery way though. Wants control.

Agreed. Joe Cole asked a direct question about Villa and became a discussion on Gravenberch. Wow.
