So far, that's it! It remains to be seen if I'm going to finish anything else by year's end. Will I get to the end of Zelda BOTW, which has me on chokehold? Finally beat Louis in Metaphor? Start and finish something else entirely?

Cocoon - I loved everything about this game. cocooning worlds is a great mechanic, I love the design of the main character and the settings. great puzzles too!

Sayonara Wild Hearts - had been meaning to play this one for a long time because of @eairoarcanos.bsky.social and I really enjoyed it. Loved the bold art direction and design, but I'm getting older and I had some issues understanding what was going on in my screen at times

Crow Country - I have mentioned it before, but Crow Country has such immaculate vibes that it made me want to try other horror games (even though I dislike horror because I am deadly afraid of everything). Really really liked it.

Sword of the Sea - absolutely gorgeous, super fun game. love that it's so short!

The Rogue Prince of Persia - a very welcome surprise! I didn't plan to get into it, but it's very engaging, very pretty to look at and just amazingly fun. Unlocking different ways to go through the world map meant that runs were always different and I liked to see all the different levels!

Cyberpunk 2077 - played it to the end, but I feel like it has the depth of an edgy teen's diary. Some nice ideas here and there, but It's quite the rote experience and I couldn't bring myself to go through the DLC. I am very likely not coming back for a sequel.

Devil May Cry 4 - (yes, I skipped 2 and 3) I enjoyed it a lot and I really like Nero, but it definitely overstays its welcome a bit.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 - I loved this game way too much and am still haunted by the ending I chose. I think I'm going to eternally hum the songs in this. That they managed to make Act 2 end like that still shocks me to this day. Best character is, of course, Esquie.

Citizen Sleeper - a tie with Obra Dinn as possibly the best game I've played all year, but it definitely made a bigger impression. Love the writing, setting and art direction. I can't manage to forget some characters, like the father-daughter duo and the cook. Unbearably excited to play the sequel.

Persona 3 Reload - Another one I had played, loved, but not beaten before. Great RPG, great story, great art direction for the remake. The new songs are all bangers and the menus (like P5's and Metaphor's) deserve a special place in design heaven

Devil May Cry - played a bit of it on my PS2 way too many years ago, felt a sudden urge to play it after watching it series. It's super fun and I absolutely loved the medieval Italian setting

Return of the Obra Dinn - Maybe my favorite game this year and one of the best I've ever played? Top-notch aesthetics and an all-around fantastic game. I was *obsessed* with it and it comes back to my mind every once in a while

Lies of P - I thought that mixing Pinocchio and soulslike games was a bit of a stupid idea, but boy, was I wrong. I had a blast with it and I'm quite excited to play the DLC someday

Dragon Age: The Veilguard - I really liked some moments / characters, but other stuff was just ok. Its tone is leagues apart from Inquisition (which I played far too late) and I can definitely see how people could be put off by it, but it didn't bother me much. Loved Neve Gallus.
