With all that’s going on in fucking scary land, I’ve added a rainbow to my profile. I don’t normally lead with it but I feel visibility is important as the world changes and strips away our rights.

I’m about 30K into my draft and I just went back and read the first 8 chapters and if my characters take a deep breath or hold their breath one more time I might scream. Sometimes they’re doing it twice a page. #amwriting

Back in May, my then 12YO painted 'Pence' (Pensive Bear) and now he's just painted a follow-up of Pence, sitting with a bee, looking chirpier. It's for his Nana this xmas. (Nana isn't on Bluesky, it's safe to share). 😍

Other half just saw #Wicked with his mum, 90. She didn't get the connection to Wizard of Oz and his opinion was: 'Only a few of the songs work for me' and 'the film is a bit slow in places'.
We've been together for 30 years, have 2 kids, a dog, a cat, but I can't see a route forward for us now.
