theyre just for condensed resin but it has a weekly reset
if u place it down in the cave ( say on a friday ) and activate it then the next friday it it will show up in the corner banners on the map full screen so it reminds u to go and grab the crystal flies / go see columbina

ive seen people say to put the crystal fly catcher thing down in the cave so when it does the weekly collection banner u remember to go see columbina as well ! ive just started doing it so hopefully it works 😭

honestly i love hsr for the reason i can do pretty much everything on auto
it makes dailies so much easier and i dont get burnt out as easy when i want to sit and actually do story stuff
