Thanks! I was thinking of some of the indie 90’s comics I liked when I was developing this. I’m not much of a writer so I was trying to figure out a way to skirt certain issues. Hence the title!

Having some fun with a master copy of Diego Velasquez’s portrait. Originally it was supposed to be a line of dogs sniffing each others butts. But I thought it lacked subtlety and more importantly, would have been a pain to execute on an 8”x8” panel. But this painting sums up how I feel lately.

It’s a gift to my banned book club buddy who incidentally loves hamsters. We read the romantic and subtly erotic masterpiece Three Weeks by Elinor Glyn. The book is about the three week romance of a mustachioed British gentleman and a beautiful and mysterious older Eastern European queen.
