Very true, based on two things I have done in the past year that have immeasurably improved my wellbeing:
1. Painting a wall in my house with blackboard paint for drawing silly drawings whenever I want
2. Inviting friends over to play around with arts and crafts stuff regularly

It's nice to be reminded that history is not a straight line from censorious to permissive. I don't know why people like the myths so much, when the fact people were always trying to have fun and be risque with their art is so much more fun

I love this. I feel like a win would be having a smoothly run event while making sure the big dramatic moments can happen - distract everyone else with a parlour game so the mismatched couple can split up without spoiling the vibe.
