Friday night flying ATL-BTV. Delayed 2 hrs due to a missing FA-ATL-based, but MIA. They were not going to cancel bc then Delta would have to pay for food/lodging for all 108 pax! Finally, a replacement FA showed up & we left. Never knew if they found the other FA and if she was ok. Very Mysterious!!

1/2 Some folks laughed at my dad when he had the old farmhouse taken down to the studs & given a "deep energy retrofit": super insulated; an Amish wood cook stove that heats house & water; hand pump in the kitchen from the well; attached greenhouse & even a compost toilet (if needed). Now I have-

I love Vermont Front Porch Forums: It's 15 sets of winter tires for sale; an ask to borrow a wig; a plea to come fetch your cows from my yard; an argument about pine martins; 5 lost cats & 3 dogs; a plea for fire wood ("This late in the season!?"exclaims my dad); & an invitation to a contra dance.
