Apart from my mother anyway. She's the type of transphobe to say being trans is just a sex thing and then accept me for being asexual but not trans? So she believes that im asexual and yet is convinced that me being trans is a sexual thing?

Its weird that sometimes I feel the need to 'perform' my asexuality. Im fairly comfortable where I am with my identity, but sometimes i feel (irrationally, most of the people I know accept me) that my identity will only be accepted if I play this weird idealised version of it for other people.

Whenever I'm encouraged to engage with a piece of media, product, store, etc. that I haven't before: I search "[commodity name] boycott" online, look at the results, assess & act accordingly.
It's the easiest thing in the world to do.
