If your intention was to look hot as fuck, then yes, you are absolutely doing it right.

I wish I saw more of this in Commander. If everyone groans when you say you're playing a certain deck, it probably needs changed, if not full disassembly.

I'm not against it. I've just never owned one.

I've honestly never played this.

Blackberries grow as weeds here in West Virginia, but they pretty much stay where they are, unlike Kudzu. Also, I love blackberries.🤤

So youre just going to eat raw flour? Try it and let me know how that goes.

I misread the card. Thanks for correcting me.

Green has always had anti flyer cards. The odd part is it taps instead of killing.

A few legends like this isn't too bad, but it just seems like most of them are designs that mean you don't have to think to build or play a commander deck.

So a commander like Kaervek, or Heartless Hidetsugu were a big problem. Then they were unbanned because they changed how commander damage worked.
March 10, 2025 at 5:06 PM
I know this is pretty old at this point, but I finally got the chance to listen to this episode. Early on you were very surprised about which commanders were first banned as commander. In the early days of commander, commander damage wasn't just combat damage. (1/2)

I used the Run Eladamri's Vineyard because plenty of decks couldn't use two green mana every turn and would just take damage.

Regeneration shield is actually in the wording of the rule now.
March 5, 2025 at 12:43 AM
Banding was actually good, but it was complicated, because it worked differently in attacking and defending. And then was made more complicated by Bands with Other.
March 5, 2025 at 12:42 AM
This is the card that immediately leapt to mind for me. It's basically useless now.
March 5, 2025 at 12:39 AM
They said it didn't come up very often anyway, and was just an extra complication, without any benefit. I disagree. A big part of the game is resource management. And taking damage for unspent mana was a consequence of mismanaging your resources, or being greedy.

I'm currently listening to a podcast that he's a guest on, and he says his favorite band is Teenage Fanclub.

I really wish Blue Sky would one up Twitter and allow editing posts and comments. I think this every time I notice a typo.

You're citing personal preference, not actual evidence. You can like vinyl better than anything, and that's fine, but the simple fact is that CDs and digital are superior.
February 23, 2025 at 3:53 AM
You're basically proving my point. This article compares modern resolution audio files to CDs. Vinyl isn't even in this discussion when it comes to quality.

There was a brief period in the late 90s where 8 track had a resurgence due to nostalgia.
February 23, 2025 at 3:20 AM
What I remember from the time CDs came out is the reave reviews of the clarity and perfect sound reproduction. Their vast superiority to vinyl or cassette.
February 23, 2025 at 3:17 AM
You're a little confused. They hold less information than CDs. The only upside was that it was not possible to brickwall vinyl.
February 23, 2025 at 3:13 AM
They've been around for a while, but it's an ongoing issue.
