Arboliva: Swift
Grass/Ground coverage is cool and all, but Swift gives Arboliva the pacing it desperately needs and makes its part-Normal typing actually matter. I had a lot of other ideas, but they either stepped on each other’s toes or didn’t sim well at all. Thx for reading!

Crustle: Rock Wrecker
This one’s definitely a pandora’s box situation, but since Crustle is the only Pokemon other than Rhyperior that’s even eligible for this move, and the rest of its already mid Rock-type kit’s been nerfed into the ground, I think the game’s ready for it.

Luxray: Double Kick
This meta’s pacing is just too quick for Double Kick Zebstrika, so have this idea instead. The combo of Fighting fast move pressure, cheap Defense debuffs, and STAB Wild Charge would be… egregiously bait-dependent with Luxray’s stats, but still sick.

Delphox: Hex, Psyshock
With this kit, Delphox ties Incineroar for fastest-charging Blast Burn in the game, but feels much faster with a differently typed bait move. This one’s admittedly a bit of mad science, but I feel like it’d be incredibly fun to play in the current meta.

Exploud: Body Slam
Exploud would stand out among the various Normals with anti-Ghost fast moves and cheap STAB options we have nowadays by being a high-HP Shadow and carrying an effective Dark-type deterrent. Sadly, it can’t learn Swift in the main series.

Noivern: Shadow Claw, Fly
Noivern needs a bit more help than the others, but not as much as you’d think. Shadow Claw makes it incredibly different from other Dragon/Fliers and its bulk is surprisingly decent enough to support a powerful closer.

Beartic: Superpower
I first had this idea a while back as a way to re-introduce Ice/Fighting coverage after Medicham got nerfed, but I was coping pretty hard. Nowadays, a quick-pacing glass cannon with Ice fast move pressure stands to gain a lot more from a Fighting nuke.

Crobat: Hex
Flying-type variety is still lacking in this meta, Poison-type gameplay is concerningly RPS-based, and the heavily reworked Air Cutter has only 2 semi-viable users in Pidgeot and Farfetch’d. Hex Crobat fixes all of these issues at once.

Camerupt: Rock Slide
Camerupt would make for an interesting anti-Incinerate Incinerate user, with winning matchups into Talonflame and Typhlosion (the latter being decided by an IV-dependent CMP) but lacking the pacing to be quite as strong neutrally as Typhlosion is.

Toxicroak: Poison Sting
Toxicroak was once a unique anti-meta option, but fell victim to many nerfs intended for different targets. Its Shadow form has high enough Attack to get solid damage value off Poison Sting, while also facilitating its insane array of coverage options.

Now's a pretty exciting time to dive in. The meta is all over the place, so there's a lot of room for unique team building and few if any absolute top-tiers

idk how aware you are of optimal PvP IVs in this game, but with the attack being the lowest of the three that's actually very good for Great League
