I got into it I think like 5 years ago? Before that, I really liked the Lord of the Rings soundtrack so I was trying to find more Tolkien inspired music and I found Hole Dweller and Grimdor. Then I found Quest Master, Fief, Forgotten Pathways, etc. To this day, my 2 favorites are Hole Dweller and QM

The new Quest Master "sword and circuitry" is kinda synthwave ish? And the project Paladin is great also!

Also if you're not familiar with dungeon synth, it's basically what you're looking for, though most projects are more on the ambient side.
