For the record, it's rated for 100 mbps and my internet's like 300 I think? Still more than enough for me tbh.

Anecdotal but my router is in a bedroom across the house (built in the 50's I think?) and I've had no problems using a powerline adapter. It's a bottleneck now that my internet is faster than the speeds it's rated for but it's significantly more consistent than if I were using Wifi.
