Zahawi’s best ability in the Johnson administration was availability. He was happy to appear on the morning briefing to parrot any old rubbish, knowing there was a 50% chance that the 🛒 would do a u turn by lunch time. Anything to help Zahawi’s career, even if he was burning up political capital.
