They're pretty much farming genuine iris scans for pennies on the dollar in Kenya. DER SPIEGEL (Which isn't great, but it is what it is) covered this uncharacteristically timely a few days ago; they're basically promising 50$ US in Crypto for your iris scan data. Super grim.
