We have a lottery already that saved the club once

Those shares were fought for over 15 years to ensure we had a say in our club. There is 23% owned by private individuals who might be very happy to get some recompense after all these years. I bet many shares are held by relatives too who would love a payout

I believe the government is pursuing an early release scheme at the moment. Maybe we should be checking the register. It's worked before.

Love the thought that both sides were arguing over who didn't want him.

"Bobby I believe in you. You will beat your man and get a cross in this season"

In 87/88 we sat on our hands and watched our club disappear as we felt that someone else was going to save it. Looking back we went out of business for £150k a sum fans might have raised if we had acted. This season has a similar submissive feel

Must see band of the year?

In the summer I stated that I never wanted to see Spellman in a County shirt again, and now here we are halfway through another season and here he is letting us down continuously.

The sun is shining, pressies sorted and beer quaffed. 2-1 to the port.

Packing my daughter's goods ready for her home move and giving my new grand daughter a cwtch

Wales does not exist in your schedules?

This weekends farcical party launch shows us what a Corbyn lead Labour party in power would have been like. A shambles!

Butty Bach, essential when in the Welsh borders but a tasty cwtch wherever you are!

Again another manager applauding the players attitude and work rate, so I wait to see what he makes of the actual end product. Failure to Hit barn door with banjo comes to mind.

Anyone else noted no Lee Kendal on club website as keeper coach?

Many years ago I realised that I had watched County play under Cornforth for nigh on two seasons and hadn't enjoyed any of it. This current period matches that apart from the odd game.

We are the Petrie jar of one man's experiment. Can a club be run as a development club until players are sold and the club self finances? This appears to be done regardless of league status.
The last club that tried this was... Um...Oldham who got relegated as basket case of league two that season.

Were we difficult to beat? No
Did we improve over the season? No
Did we have a clear game plan? No
Time for a change

Fair summary of where we find ourselves. We have similar points tally to games as our relegation season of 88

Had to leave. That performance was abject. The back line came out in a dogleg and the midfield bar one came second in most challenges. That is not owner issues that is basic coaching and organisation.

I saw the Walsall game as a free hit. However, Hats was brought in to install some league two nous, but we still seem fragile in defence.
November 12, 2025 at 4:18 PM
I agree but what happened in our defence at times. Ping pong around the box and panic.
Whitmore picks up a half way booking and when will Jenkins pick up his fifth to miss a game
