Russian stock mkt falling; PMI & business confidence sliding. The economy is much worse than the official stats. Despite military spending and massaged stats, GDP growth is just 1%. A real push from the West would topple the regime. Now is not the time to give up.

World bond yields are rising instead of falling, which would be the typical pattern at this stage of the business cycle. Also, for the first time in 20 years, US bond ylds are roughly the same as global ylds, because the US fiscal position is so bad, and b/c of Trump.
