I'm disappointed in how the Fall Festival in Grand Ledge this last Saturday from 10am-4pm went. Not managed well at all. No one respecting the shitty space we were pushed into. It smelled bad because it was next to the bathroom vent.

But, I appreciate the folks who did stop by/bought something 💖

Gonna do a long thread of things I've been making this past month for a fall festival this upcoming weekend, starting with beaded keychain spiders with glow in the dark (or solar changing) beads 🕷

My first time making one of those big plushy snugglers, this one is inspired by a Charmander! How'd I do?

Some previews of fall foods I worked on: cinnamon rainsin muffins with brown sugar streudel, pumpkin bread, mini loaf and reg loaf slices) with the same topping, and cinnamon sugar apple slices :)

My first time making more detailed embroidered eyes on anything, they're a little silly but cute! I made a beaded gliding dragon toy, with solar changing beads, inspired by Spyro! This is definitely a fave of mine.

I've also made two fried egg gliding dragon toys, one for my spouse and one for our stall, I really love how they turned out 🥚 🐣 🍳

I made two cotton coasters/trivets, and two sunflower scrunchies. The yellow coaster is 100% cotton in yellow, the chicken is 100% cotton in the bkue, but the eyes are plastic safety eyes and the red and yellow accents are in acrylic.

This is your occasional reminder that Rose O'Neill, creator of the Kewpies, first published female cartoonist in the United States, and among the first cartoonists to build a merchandising empire on their work, turned out some absolutely baller, romantic-feeling size-difference monster art.
