Update.
Mr.Stake passed away this morning. I was able to be there in his final moments after receiving the call.
He is and will always be loved and I pray he knew how much.

So one time there was this anime adjacent company that did everything they possibly could to avoid paying me about $5K that they commissioned me for. After spending 5 months getting dragged around to finally get my payment, the project I was told would have my name in the credits suddenly didn't.
