It seems to me that it might be an emote that you can use to switch the effects on and off, since the emote shows the syandana as well

This update not only did the same but revived my passion for this game, DE cooked so hard, I feel so grateful to have such an amazing game that brings me huge amounts of joy on a regular basis.

That doesn’t remove fall damage, all it does is keep the momentum and give you a bit of stamina back
