This new study highlighted the benefits of IVI-guided PCI in complex coronary artery lesions. Findings showed a lower risk of target vessel failure, with increasing benefit as lesion complexity rises. #Cardiology #PCI #IntravascularImaging

FAVOR III Europe subanalysis showed QFR-guided deferral leads to higher 1-year MACE vs. FFR. QFR may be less safe for intermediate coronary stenosis, with further studies needed to assess a hybrid QFR-FFR approach. #Cardiology #PCI #FFR #QFR #EAPCI

Deferral of coronary revasc by QFR was less safe than by standard FFR in the FAVOR III Europe trial - despite that QFR led to PCI in 21% more pts with intermediate stenosis.
