This is a húge accomplishment for a country without a navy. I still wonder why a lot of people think Russia is winning this war. The front is stable, the costs for Russia are huge, the Russian navy is out of the Black Sea, a million or more casualties.
Russia's navy has surrendered the Black Sea to Ukraine. Ukraine has officially won the battle for the Black Sea.

Here's my rating list of the 20 F1 drivers of 2025.
The overall rating is quite good. There aren't many drivers that don't belong in F1. Thats been different some years. The races in general were nice, but there were just 2 or 3 too many. Quit with Qatar and stop China, Saudi Arabia.

Here's my rating list of the 20 F1 drivers of 2025.

Verstappen leads with 10 laps to go, and has 10 sec. on Piastri, who has 5 sec. on Norris, who has 5 sec. on Russel.
Should he back down, hold Piastri+Norris until Russel is there and hope that either Norris + Piastri crash or that Russel overtakes Norris?

Being the nerd that I am, I actually built a model to help me find out what my predictions are 😅
Logically and mathematically, Norris will take it.
But I am a sucker for a good comeback story, so seeing Verstappen nab it would be absolute, top tier drama.

Yes, those stats are nice to see for the last race...
If Verstappen keeps on driving for approx 5 years the record of Hamilton of 105 race wins could be broken... Something most people thought was impossible. He would be 33 years.
But I think after 2028 it will be over for him in F1. Maybe he will do a 2 year comeback in 2031 or something....

I think those 2 points Norris gained will be crucial...and I think it was on purpose from Antonelli / Mercedes. Better to have a Mercedes team be world champions at the drivers championship...

Verstappens race need to be amazing to counter McLaren. But I don't see it happening to be honest. The McLarens are really really strong here...lets hope for a McLaren crash in the first corner to get a really interesting last race.

Even if Verstappen doesn't win the Championship...he has made up 104 points on Piastri after the race on Zandvoort. In 7 grandprix weekends that is back at zero points. And 64 points on Norris since Hungary in 8 grandprix weekends. That it will be probably undecided until the last GP is remarkable..

Weird thing is that Piastri may hope he himself is disqualified, cause it will keep the distance between him and Norris smaller then without a DSQ.

What I think is quite interesting is the revival of Lawson. 7 points only of Hadjar, which is cheered on because he drives so well. Maybe, just maybe it has to do with the competition at redbull and that that car is only driveable by Max.

Great race. Didn't really get why Verstappen needed to pit again. Thought he could stay on the mediums and fight for the win or second place. Norris is going to become champion if nothing weird happens next race. Verstappen is within 1 racewin to become 2nd.
