You told the person 'you can upskill' like it was so easy

Upskilling is not actually so easy, and one of the reasons is loans do actually have to be paid back, and another is that a lot of vocational education does have fees upfront.

The government has also just recently cut back the Access to Work programme which was supposed to help disabled people be able to work
November 24, 2025 at 2:53 PM
I'm a disabled person in the UK who is trying to upskill due to not being able to do my previous job due to disability, no it's not free and not well supported by employers either
November 24, 2025 at 2:50 PM

Me getting texts from my friends in Spain 'your government is crazy. Mental.'
November 21, 2025 at 5:33 PM
When I see people saying 'this is really too much sickness' and pointing at graphs with the line doing this clearly visible upturn in 2020 I feel like I am going completely mental
November 21, 2025 at 5:31 PM
Lost my job due to long covid, now can't work and have to watch the govt go on TV and complain about how too many people are sick and it is bad for the economy
November 21, 2025 at 5:14 PM
My workplace March 2020, the union reps were calling to close the site, management sticking to 'govt advice is we can stay open', mass meeting in the yard demanding to close the site as so many sick, I was told about the mass meeting in text messages as I had got covid, nearly died of pneumonia

OK but the people who clean my local hospital are definitely contributing already, by making sure I don't die of sepsis in the hospital, they don't need to pay more tax
