Elections start this week & elections start locally, with school boards and city aldermen and sheriff's & state elected officials. Violent acts only serve to embolden & validate the messaging of conservative media. Those deeply ingrained listeners think "Dems hate America." Don't give them "proof."

for a woman of color to take a commanding role. We need people Pete Butigieg to keep going to conservative media and forcefully making the case to audiences. We need Beto O'Rourke's and Jason Kanders to keep running for office. And yes we need to defend the legal branch of government.

Who is in charge is constantly changing. There's momentum behind Bernie, but he's the liberal version of Trump. AOC will fail because America won't elect her to higher office. & If the country isn't ready for a white woman in high power, they certainly aren't up

messaging to combat the propaganda R's are spewing. If the right magnifies liberal violent actions in their messaging, liberals lose the sympathetic moderates. The long game is lost, for sure, in acts of immediate impact.

You're right that this is not normal. Acts of violence in response to these attacks on democracy are not the wisest course of action. Not waiting on elections, either. Look at how many times Trump is losing in the courts, even with judges he appointed. D's need to couple that with improved

I'm not saying it has to be all kumbaya and let's have tea and conversations while they are assaulting democratic institutions. On the contrary, we should resist and fight but fight in strategic ways that build support. Americans are upset by droves. Trump pulled Stefanik in fear that R's would 1/2

distorted to demonize and reframe the stories. They will rally support against liberals by magnifying destruction caused in protest. Poor messaging gives conservatives the narratives they want the public to see. Then what? What strategic ground is there when liberals become the enemy of the public.

I'm well aware of the tactics of Hitler & his ability to make the Germany capitulate to his will. Yet, we are now in a different time with different tools. Conservative media has an extensive reach (far more than liberal media) so radical actions will be amplified and motivations will be 1/2
