15K race today went well. Obliterated my 15K from October by 20 minutes and my 15K PR from my 21k in November by 5. Solid prep race 🎉

Results of my HM race last Saturday. official time of 1:58:30. Finished side by side within half a second of my dad. Was able to achieve the goal I set out on back in April after ~800 miles of running since then. Happy with this milestone but it is just that. Can’t wait to pick back up again.

I almost broke my chain of weekly updates. Last week was great and it being over made me sad. My older sister and her kids came up to our place for the week and we did all kinds of grass touching. It was so lively around here and I got drunk again. Also got all my mileage in too. Near perfect week 🐛

I’m happy about my continued running progression and still really thrilled to keep going but outside of that part of my life I feel extremely empty and it hits me especially on days where I take a break. Running is the only time I feel worth anything. I don’t have any other inlets or outlets. Lonely

last week was also good. this morning was good as well. the past 3 weeks were very solid for training & general happiness. the back of my left shin seems to be splinted after this morning's run though and that worries me. I feel like my mental state will drop off a cliff if I have to take time off

Sometimes I go a few days in a row of tweeting too much on twitter and I have to open this thing back up to cool myself down. Take a breath. Focus on breathing. That’s good. Just relax. 😌
