This is dumb advice. Finding refuge in ever shrinking pockets of the workforce is not a solution. Wage working to access resources is breaking down by the very nature of our technologies & economic system. We need a more fundamental change.

I'm a fan of critique and solving problems found in them over simple rejection. We should piggy back off of "resistance holidays" such as these single day shopping boycotts. Present more radical ideas and actions while people are interested in these "blackout days".

cooked foods digest easier; more nutrients absorbed. This applies to milk. Pasteurized milk is nutritionally superior to raw milk. Not to mention kills pathogens.

it's good that NYC has alternative transportation systems for people to use. It would be better to invest in them so that the alternative is more affordable and convenient than cars to naturally incentivize people to utilize alternatives rather than defaulting to cars.
