Ludo isn’t so much a backseat driver, than he is an arm-rest surfer.

Even though he has no idea what’s going on around him, he likes to be involved, occasionally barking at potential foes and getting excited at the prospect of meeting new friends.

In an effort of self improvement, Ludo has been learning more about US history. He thinks the term “Voodoo Economics” is funny and can’t imagine why any politician would try anything that stupid. I had to remind him of our current situation. He just signed and licked his paws.

We had a chat. Ludo was confused about what Executive Producers do. I said “sometimes they are writers, who aren’t getting a writers credit; sometimes they are agents, or bankers, or rich kids who like having celebrities as acquaintances. But they always get paid. And go to award ceremonies.”

It’s been a bit of a day. Dear Leader revealed himself to be an epic plonker with the negotiating skills of a hungry toddler.

Ludo was content chasing his ball. Until it fell into the pool. But he’s clever enough to get it out. Amazing what a bit of patience, strategy & intelligence can achieve.

Will we all be killed when the big asteroid strikes Ludo? Will it affect the flow of treats? Let’s hope not. Carry on.

I asked Ludo if he could explain why the Trump / Zelenskyy press conference was such a fiasco. He just sighed. To him, having his feet in the sun is enough. He’s very wise.
