In the UK = look often affected in the year between school and university, maybe different shorts… surfer look… the cultural impact of Neighbour’s, Home and Away cant be underestimated. Unfortunately it’s a look that doesn’t work with most British accents. Weird, like being a British + called Brad.

That look was only seen in the UK on television depicting Australia or some exotic sounding place that hosts Trump rallies 30-40 years later

They were also home to some of the most violent anti-semites in Europe in the pre-war period (yes, really - google “Iron Guard”). They were an enthusiastic ally of Nazi Germany. Now with Putin and Trump backing these people, i’m really not surprised…

And how does this work for content that’s streamed on platforms like Netflix? Or is this only for cinematic releases? Either way it’s a dumb as fuck idea.. “foreign lands” is vague and lofty and hints that this brilliant idea hasnt really been developed.

What the fuck does “produced in foreign lands” mean? Films are international these days, different locations are common, international co-productions, with an array of foreign stars… are we to expect films with British, Aussie or Canadian talent will soon also be targeted by this stable genius?
