Yeah, VGC-minded & Casual Pokémon players mix like oil & water.
Example: I keep on trying to talk in a server about how I wish & hope we’d get more Megas & this one person who’s VGC-minded keeps on saying they wish there were no Megas & how Tera is the best gimmick.

Yeah, VGC-minded & Casual Pokémon players mix like oil & water.

As for VGC, it’s considered a good gimmick since it can:
- boost the power output a Pokémon can have by giving it an offensive type
- boost the tanking prowess of a Pokémon by giving it a defensive type
- be given to any Pokémon w/o fear of lots of “supergimmicks” within the gimmick (only 2 exist)

As for VGC, it’s considered a good gimmick since it can:

I’m sure GameFreak considers Z-A “good enough to be considered their Switch 2 game w/Megas”.
Honestly, the only parts of the gimmicks past Gen 6 that I like are the form changes.

Still hoping for “Mega Venusaur 2” and “Mega Blastoise 2” as part of the DLC (oddly enough, those two were some of the few non-Legendary Megas missing from the Mega Showcase in the Final Trailer.

God I’m so happy Raichu finally got justice.
I’ve always seen people say that GF would just give Pikachu a Mega because Mascot Rights, so seeing Raichu get not one, but two Megas is amazing.
It might only be because of Pikachu’s Status, but Raichu now joins Charizard & Mewtwo in the Two-Mega Club.

Yeah, I think they’ve been very sparing with reveals since ORAS & SuMo, when they basically revealed all the important/new stuff before the games came out.
I’m still hoping the Starters get regional forms, since them getting Megas means Typhlosion, Serperior, and Samurott would be left out.

IIRC, when Megas were first revealed for XY, it was 2 months before the games released.
And it was 5 Megas + revealing that the new Mewtwo form is actually Mega Mewtwo.
I think they only revealed half of the Megas before release & some were leaked through CoroCoro around launch day.

Honestly, I'd just make a Notepad or something of all the characters at this point.
Much easier to remember all the characters if you have a dedicated document listing who was created & who they are.

I will say: With you having over 20+ Amours, it does become hard to remember all of them, especially when it comes down to the ones that are named with no images.
But yeah, when you have so many great designs, it’s hard to forget.

I do want to say that I'm still considering if I want to call her "R0-Z13", "Iron Rose", or just "Rose", among other considerations like actual name, potential project name, etc.
That & the backstory is still in the works.
