Again, the ONLY government-affiliated platform for donations to Jamaica is supportjamaica.gov.jm. And a warning has been issued around known bad actors trying to scam people who want to give what they can. It’s appalling.

She’s 100% correct. It’s possible to report or discuss fact without speaking devastation over a country and sensationalizing catastrophe. And before you post tone-deaf things like “losing your favorite vacation destination” think about the people actually navigating this moment.
