Putting together last weeks photo favourites in a virtual zine over on my Substack newsletter. From now on all my photos will be over there as I step away from mainstream social media and embrace slow living, long form written word articles. Would love to connect, it's nice over there.

Not sure what I’m loving more—editing my favourite photos from last weeks adventures or naming them. 1. The Hunt and the Hunted. 2. Buckteethed. 3. Towards the Light. 4. A Little Wish Granted.

Fairy Wrens and Dragonflies are amongst my favourite wildlife to capture - not sure if I should be torn or elated I got them both in one photo 🤷🏼‍♀️🥺 #wildoz

So nice to see this little one tucked safely in the reeds in Coombabah Wetland Reserve after so many years in hiding

This is my daily go-to for mental health. I love seeing which bird is in my area and how to find them. If only #bird finding was as popular as Pokémon Go! the World would be a better more sustainable and compassionate place

Sat for a while with this little one as she foraged and went bravely further away from her mob to adventure in to the wild on her own. It made me reflect on wanting to stay close to home while also feeling the pull to explore the world. #FemPhotoCollective #WildOz

This is Adele. She greets me every morning with beautiful songs she practises for hours. Despite her strict Godfather, she's fiercely independent, loyal, and teaches her young siblings to happily sing and forage.
She's my mostfavourite magpie friend.

Recently, Anne-Marie and I took the train to #Brisbane for an author talk at QPAC. The talk was okay, but my first night photography adventure was amazing. Here's one of my favorite shots. 📸
We'd love to go back again and take more. What are your favourite photography spots in Brisbane? #qldtourism

Nature is full of tiny, magical moments waiting to be noticed. I captured this Fairy Wren in a fleeting, beautiful instant, and it’s one of my favourites among countless shots I've taken.

Coombabah Wetland Reserve is one of my favourite go-to's whenever I'm feeling stressed, overwhelmed or just need to sit for a while and talk about the state of the world with a young koala who had a LOT to say. Apparently we are arseholes and need to do better 🤷🏼‍♀️

Lately, I’ve been utterly captivated by the buzzing activity in my backyard, watching the bees feverishly gather every last grain of pollen they can carry before the blooms disappear. It’s like they’re racing against time, and I can’t get enough of it.

I created a small water feature in the tiny backyard of my rental property and waited.
A few days later, this little guy turned up.

👋🏻 G’day! Would love to connect with other #femalephotographers who love to capture all things bugs, birds and beautiful landscapes. Extra brownie points if you’re a fellow Aussie 🇦🇺

This gull and I had an interesting discussion on the state of the World. We both agreed it was rather fucked 😏🤷🏼‍♀️
