I write books filled with fearless women, coffee, quirky adventure and a dash of romance.
My books are wide. Find them all here:

And sometimes perseverance is sitting up in the morning and encouraging yourself, "C'mon, we can do this."
Have a great day!

Remember to call, email or write your representatives.

Anyone else want to ask their local goverment if/when they're going to start demonizing women to the point of witch trials and such? Becuase I need to get my summer plans on the calendar...

I was thinking today, I sure could use a dose of Mister Rogers right about now. Then I thought about the army of us he raised, and how every day we're showing up for each other. I see y'all and your messages of kindness, hope and action. Thank you!

Good Morning you beautiful soul!
Time to displace the demons and write the words!
Let's get to work. Flap the joy and creativity in the faces of those who think they can scare us.

Don't let the bastards get you down and call your representatives.

Keep your head up my friends.
Create and wave joy in the face of those who want us to live in fear.

Don't forget to call your representatives.

In February, we celebrated Black History Month. It’s March, so we celebrate Women’s History Month. And we’ll do it with joy and our imposing presence. Beucase we are beyond powerful if ‘evil’ is so terrified of us, they think removing mention of our celebrations from a calendar could do something.

Question of the Day:

Besides writing/calling legislators, protesting, donating, or screaming into the void ... where are you finding the hope and good work? Who do you follow that is suggesting solutions?

I've got some flowers and made myself some coffee. That must mean it's time to Write, Empower Women and Fight Racism.
Have a great day!

The first book I published is called Big Trouble in Little Italy. It's a wild ride with a dash of intrigue, a lot of Italy and a little bit of love.

Having coffee with a friend is the kind of healing magic that helps keep me motivated so I can do the work and, hopefully, help pass along the strength to those doing the hard work these days.

Pride and Prejudice was published on January 28, 1813. She sold the copyright for £110. Originally, she called the book First Impressions, but it was retitled. The book was also published "anonymously", though the title page credited her this way: "by the Author of Sense and Sensibility".

So I'm immersing myself in the Italian language again and pulled out some of my quick study guides. Now that I know a lot more, these phrases "In the Hotel" section made me very curious as to what kind of trip the people who wrote these books had?!

My favorite pens are Retro 51. I have a good collection at this point. Their motto: "Life is too short to carry an ugly pen."
