Here's one of the handmade paper works I made during the winter residency at Penland School of Craft. I taught myself how to weave cast fishing nets by hand, and then I embedded the net beneath handmade abaca paper 🌱

I'm teaching introduction to sculpture this semester. My students are starting the first project focused on the 3D manipulation of cardboard. The assignment asks them to recreate an object/animal of personal significance in cardboard.
