Why hasn’t this government supported workers, protected their pay checks, and ensured they can afford to pay the bills? #ableg #abpoli #BetterIsPossible

What is the UCP doing to make life more affordable for Albertans, including our military community, whose future job security is at risk under this government’s separatist rhetoric? #ableg #abpoli #BetterIsPossible

I was so honoured to attend the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of a 40-suite housing unit for houseless veterans in north west Edmonton yesterday!!

I am beyond grateful for this, and feel so blessed to be part of this military family. Thank you for this honor and to my loved ones who were able to join in the celebration.

Last night was such a wonderful evening. South Alberta Light Horse Regimental Association presented me with an Honorary Lifetime Membership "in recognition of your support and friendship to the Regimental Association and the broader regimgimental family.”

We want to hear from you. Are you struggling with the rising cost of living?

The Red Deer Advocate covered the Alberta Medical Association’s recent State of Health Care 2025 Report Card.

While wait times skyrocket and patients suffer, the UCP is more than happy to put money in to panels and a provincial police force.

Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦

I had such a great time celebrating with Marie Renaud and Naheed Nenshi in St. Albert yesterday! I had to wear my ‘Elbows Up’ tee for the occasion!!

Our strength as a country works when we are united, when we choose cooperation over division, and community over isolation.

In 2016, I successfully passed a private member's bill, officially marking June 27th as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Awareness Day in Alberta.

In 2019, I spoke in the Legislature about the importance of PTSD Awareness. (1/8)

The 2024-25 school year is coming to an end this week!

It has been a tumultuous year for teachers and support staff and I can’t stress enough the critical role they play in Alberta’s classrooms. (1/3)

Inclusion in sport is impossible if athletes can’t even enter the doors of Alberta sports facilities.

The current lack of accessibility legislation from this government means our spaces will remain inaccessible. #abpoli #ableg

Albertans living with disabilities deserve a government that works for them. The Alberta Sports Hall of Fame is currently inaccessible to many disabled Albertans, effectively barring para-athletes from the facility meant to celebrate them. #abpoli #ableg

When Minister Schow was given a platform to speak on Alberta tourism, he spoke about going to visit New York.

Let’s recap Minister Schow’s advocacy for tourism in Alberta:

In December, Minister Nixon said the UCP’s actions “speak for themselves,” regarding support for the Town of Jasper. They do, indeed, but perhaps not in the way Minister Nixon thinks.

Last summer, a wildfire devastated Jasper, leaving over 600 families without homes. #abpoli #ableg #jasper (1/8)

I’d like to echo my colleagues’ sentiments regarding the hate incident that took place in St. Albert this weekend.

To see such blatant hate in our communities is sickening. We must call it out when we see and make it clear: hate is unacceptable.

The UCP continue to harm the most vulnerable in our province.

Minister Nixon and the UCP are claiming that the government “wants resources to be used to connect those living with disabilities to front-line services… which these organizations don't provide.” #abpoli #ableg (1/3)

I gathered with some of the amazing educational assistants in Morinville today as they join their fellow EAs picketing across our province for better work conditions! Educational assistants are vital to all students’ success— especially our most vulnerable students who need extra support. #abpoli
