Yeah, I am tryin to measure it like that. I guess art works that way for me. I choose to spend my money on art that brings me joy. Joy/emotion is what I get out of art…whether I buy it or make it. So for me quantifying ’what I get out of it’ is how I decide where to put my money. Again, capitalism

Help me understand. My definition of value is clearly different than yours. How do you quantify art? And do we all have to quantify things the same to level up our understanding?

Not pretending they need the money. Capitalism is what it is. I guess I’m just one of the few that believes I’m gettin my moneys worth even at $80. We all have different definitions of ‘value’

I think $80 for a game is a deal. Especially something like ToK or MK. Sure, expensive, but I’ll play 100+ hours of that/those games… how many things run you less than $1 an hour for entertainment? We pay way more per hour to watch a movie we don’t own
