A handy list of artists to support and look out for.

Genuine question Frances: what’s happened to the Timpsons guy who was appointed with so much favourable publicity & hope?

Many many times.

Also, you will always need more boxes than you think.

Good luck!

Go slowly. Pick a coloured sticker for each room so you can easily see which boxes & furniture go where — then give your movers a master list.

Use masking / painters tape & then put stickers on top of that. Less gluey residue to clean off

Keep an inventory of boxes.

Yes. Being a racism is certainly not a protected belief under human rights law. Worrying times.

It’s kind of sinister, no? Plus all those insufferable Clanchy stans crowing about this all over socials. It feels very regressive and unhelpful, especially at this time.

Very odd. An investigative team known for deep dives into stuff but ignores the basic truth thst Clanchy’s book WAS full of the racism that she so hotly denied.

Am very curious to know who commissioned this podcast and why now.
November 5, 2025 at 2:55 PM
Yeah, I saw that. So my next question is why the BBC made a podcast and why now?
November 4, 2025 at 8:03 PM
Oh? So the podcast led to the apology? Wow.
November 4, 2025 at 8:01 PM
Am curious to know why this so-called apology has happened now? What’s precipitated it?

Having Clanchy doing another round of self-promoting whinge is annoying but I really feel for the women who were so terribly attached in the wake of her bigotry.

It feels like a shame that decent people are spending their hard-earned money & energy collecting stuff that may just go to waste.

Hey @lucygobag.bsky.social. Perhaps you could approach The Voice newspaper in London & help them get this message out. There’s so much effort going into collecting goods to send to Jamaica rn. Or even help out them in touch with an emergency planner on the ground who can verify what is needed?

Same! Couldn’t they find her for a quote?
