In less than 24 hours I will be the newest resident of New Scotland (Nova Scotia). Having lived in New Brunswick for nearly 30 years and Maine for 20, this is to be filed under, "Kind of a Big Deal" for me. Anxious yet intrigued, are descriptors of my current state of mind.

I'll be living out of a bag for a couple months, so these are the books that I'm bringing. (Had to make sure they were all paperbacks!).
I only started reading MD for the first time recently. Half way in, I'm realizing it's the big bang event for so many books/writers that I am in love with today .

Currently waiting for the movers. All my life's possessions (including my beloved books) are about to be shuttled onto a truck. Hoping the truck doesn't go off the road and explode into a million pieces. I don't know what I would do if I lost my library. 🥺

Cancelled Netflix after 10 years. We had 4 accounts, we had 4 people paying top tier. They didn't like that after years of, "Love is sharing your #netflix password". Sorry Netflix, out of all my streaming options, you would always be the first to go.

There is a reoccurring character in the TV show "Devs" that wears a Primus shirt. This could have been one of worst shows ever made (it's not), but that one detail would still have me proselytizing its virtues.

Allowed to use lockers at the gym for the first time in a year. I'll take the smallest glimmer of hope wherever I can find it. Today, I find it in the corner of a slightly moist, metal box.
