I am wondering why I am sad about the ADHD diagnosis. I was thinking of my childhood, when my parents would say "Why can't you be normal" "Why are you so weird". Now I think, "you never thought to have it checked? It was easier to call me names than to actually help me?" I feel sad for that kid.
