Is there still a reason to use TLS inspection nowadays? Most of the problems solved by TLS inspection — network filtering, web filtering, malware detection, C2 detection, DLP, etc. — can be solved in the browser and/or with EDR solutions on the endpoint.

This is great! But what is the reason for saving the end-to-end encrypted backup files on Signal backup servers instead of iCloud or Google backup service, as most of us are already paying for this storage? If the backup is already E2E encrypted, we don't need to trust Apple/Google.
