I struggle with the science feed due to its variety. I am completely ignorant about most fields that are not my own, so I find myself unable to understand most posts. Not being American makes this harder because I know very little of their system.

I hate that all conversations about combustion end up being conversations about ICE cars. Combustion research is about making the most common source of energy as pollutant free as possible.

Conversations about Fahrenheit vs Celsius are so stupid. For non-scientists, it's the same as language, you hear a number and if you are fluent, you will relate it to a feeling of hot- or coldness. For engineers and scientists, it's irrelevant.

Italian coffee is pretty bad, actually. Give me a freshly brewed filtered black coffee over any espresso based drink or Americano.
