The standard of too many homes in the UK is incredibly poor and it impacts the nations' health. Fixing our broken housing system is about more than just putting a roof over people's heads.

Great to join this learning session on Friday and hear more about community led housing in Scotland (always good to be in a room of people who understand my accent 😅)!
On Friday we brought together our funded partners, South of Scotland Community Housing & learning partner, Curiousity Society, for a day of strategic thinking.

We reflected on their achievements so far & looked forward to the change they aim to achieve through Community-Led Housing in Scotland.

Yesterday, our Policy Officer, Nicola, attended a meeting of the APPG for Healthy Homes & Buildings in parliament.

Key takeaway: Poor quality homes harm people’s health and put a strain on the NHS.

As well as building more homes, we need to make sure we’re building healthy homes.
