Why did we build this? A few years back, we realized there was no comprehensive archive of food system-related policies. This was a real gap for our work at the Food System Economics Commission (foodsystemeconomics.org).

Why did we build this? A few years back, we realized there was no comprehensive archive of food system-related policies. This was a real gap for our work at the Food System Economics Commission (foodsystemeconomics.org).
The article, co-authored with Sarah Lowder, Caterina Ruggeri Laderchi, and Kelly Parsons, covers the whats, whens, and wheres of food system policies globally. We explain our classification system and discuss the (unavoidable) caveats of assembling a database this large.
