Body of work around photo albums. This inspired by antique album of photographs from Amazon 1900s,British engineer went in Amazon to build railway,rotting engines still lying abandoned in jungle now.Album in my imagination is love story between engineer and young Brazilian from bourgeois family.

Finished first book of poems and accompanying illustrations. Giclee prints and text onto handmade papers. Soft board covers and stitched sections without glue so the pages lay flat. Will be a limited edition of five. Titled Fates and Furies. Ready for exhibition in September.

These are my late parents, Cecil Cole,a DDay veteran & Aleida Nadorp who met in Hengelo, the army vehicle he was driving stopped near her home, as the liberation Army passed through. My Nana told Mum to ask the Tommies if they wanted a drink, they ended up marrying & living in the UK. Happy VE Day!
