I see what you mean, but in my mind Bergman has an inherent pessimism while Lynch is inherently positive in his view of the human condition. I do need to watch more Bergman to better compare the two. Definitely some interesting similarities though

That’s so sick. I’ve only seen one movie in 70mm imax. I had to travel to London for it since the only other 70mm imax in Europe is in Prague. It looks so great though!

Absolutely agree! I feel like those publisher look at a live-service game and see a blueprint that they think is easy to follow. It would serve them better to put their trust in creatives like Josef Fares to create more unique types of multiplayer/co-op experiences.

I feel like it is harder than it looks to make a great co-op only game. The game design really has to be on point. “It Takes Two” is exceptionally good imo. You’d expect there’d be more imitators but maybe the task is just to daunting for a lot of developers.

I definitely expected SOTN on here since it’s such a defining game for the Metroidvania genre.

I think the audience for the show consists of many people that haven’t played the game. My guess is that the average tv drama audience member reacts better to difficult narrative choices than some gamers haha

Love the inclusion of TLOU part II. Probably a top 10 game for me. I will never understand the reaction that game received on launch.

I feel like Black Friday is getting more and more meaningless. I can’t remember the last time I saw a lot of actual great gaming/tech discounts. Feels like they lure you in with expectations and hope you’ll walk away with a subpar 4k tv that’s €80 off.
