Ok, so I fired up Fallout 4 again because I'm finally over the loss of the tablet link.
Turns out I never actually set it up to run with the high rez textures. Not sure why that didn't auto activate.
So now I get to wait again as the 58 gig downloads.
I hope it'll be worth it. Time will tell.

Well, that was an interesting last hour. I spent it cleaning my keyboard as it really needed it.
At least 45 minutes of individually cleaning and drying all these keycaps and putting them back into place.
Ah well, it's done and wow, this thing looks almost new.
Should be good for a while now.

Guess what Bethesda removed in the update.
I always though that the app was the coolest thing. My desire to play has faded.

My VR headset apparently needs time to shut down and maybe cool off before it'll start charging properly. I have no idea.
The other problem is when I use a power bank to extend run time. It seems to charge both the headset and the power bank, like it's a symbiotic system. Not good.

When moving the tablet, the case decided it didn't want to stay closed and made it a lot more difficult.

It drained down 16 percent overnight as I turn off all my charging at bedtime.
However, it has gone from 61 to 99 percent in an hour. That doesn't seem right to me.
Still, I guess as long as it works? That'll be tested later.
Still want to know why it flickers on and off tho.

I bought my countertop ice maker ages ago to increase my water intake.
My roommate found out he liked my filtered water ice more than his tap cubes from the freezer.
Now, nearly every day, I get up, start the icemaker, then he manages to come out at exactly the right moment to take it all.

One: Make sure your external battery pack is charging your VR headset so you don't run out of power
Two: Drinking rum and coke through a straw is much more intoxicating.
This has led to me sitting here waiting for the headset to recharge so I can drink more.

Also, while there was some trash, it was mostly cardboard and empty shipping packages.
I also condensed the loose small electronics into one container.

I've got about 200 bucks left for the year beyond the bills.
That doesn't include groceries. So, if there are no emergencies, I'm set.

That's the headset itself, a battery bank to charge while in use and the batteries for the controllers.
