I'm also cautious about DeepSeek because of the TikTok precedent. You simply cannot trust a dictatorial country. We've been burned far too many times.

Last I checked the tech industry, we celebrate small teams pushing the industry forward, coming up w novel ways to build software more efficiently. And sharing it.
Yet now there's a class of folks who think this is some bad thing?

CSAM content has risen 10x week-over-week. While we detect confirmed cases quickly, manual review is still necessary for NCMEC reports. This increase impacts our mods, who are repeatedly exposed to such content. 4/7

WhatsApp cannot become a viable alternative for Telegram groups if they don't allow comments in "Updates". Also "Updates" need to feature in the main screen. And "Updates" is a bad name, try to search for it.
