This is the riverbed of the River Dore in Herefordshire today. What a drought. There were still crayfish under the rocks. Eerie scene.

Brilliant to see The Observer devote its front page to examining the government’s treatment of Palestine Action. Excellent coverage inside.

Is Yvette Cooper becoming increasingly desperate by resorting to smears?

Indeed. Did you see the statement released by Basement Films? Here’s a snapshot from their Instagram. Shameful.

The BBC will not screen the documentary about medics in Gaza under attack - which it commissioned.

A privilege to interview @eddavey.libdems.org.uk at the Hay Festival today, on publication day for his new book ‘Why I Care and Why Care Matters’.

Carers need more support - and delivering this will require bold moral leadership to build a cross-party consensus.

Saw this beautiful card and had to buy it. A few titles that I haven’t read and will seek out.

We’ve made our film ‘Syria’s Disappeared’ free to watch in any country.

The stories of Mazen, Mansour and Mariam forever changed me.

My heart is with all Syrians currently searching for their missing loved ones.

Good to see Fiona Bruce make the point on BBC Question Time that we need to reduce our consumption of meat and dairy.

Lamentable to see Minister Jonathan Reynolds’ answer.

Is this ignorance or cowardice?

Either way, an abject failure of leadership.
