Vale sempre la pena di pensare a qualcosa di nuovo e migliore. Senza questo desiderio, si rischia di non essere nemmeno capaci di considerare la possibilità del peggio, e di scorgerne i segni.

Where was everybody when only a few had been warning about how dangerous this person was for years? Why was this danger clear to those few while all others were blind and deaf?

All busy thanking him for giving us (bad) electric cars and wanting to make the world a better place?

Thinking now about other colleagues, including some in "my" own University and school, who repeatedly exalted Musk and now stay silent.

The level of hypocrisy and conflict of interest in academia, and especially in business schools, is concerning, and so is the complicit silence around it.

On OpenAI and "benefitting all humanity"

The history of tech shows how good tech companies and bros are at overselling their virtuousness.

And how many intellectuals, news media, and academics have given up on their role as critics and counterpowers.

My thoughts in the Toronto Star.
