Nigella, I was coming off night duty yesterday morning, & bumped into one of the wee young nurses on her way in, carrying a cake box. I asked her what she had made, and her response was “Nigella’s coffee and walnut cake, it’s a brilliant recipe”! And it looked fabulous!Just thought I’d let you know❤️

This recipe will always have a special place in my heart, Nigella, as I remember so vividly what a joyous response it elicited from my wee mummy the first time I made it. Such a heartwarming memory❤️❤️❤️

Thank you - I chickened out of doing the full icing/marzipan cover, as I didn’t think I’d be able to do it neatly enough! Hope you don’t mind my cheeky re-post, I was just enjoying a big slice on my tea break (a much needed treat!), and really wanted you to see it because I was so pleased with it!❤️

Just finished (finally - sorry about the delay, last week was a bit hectic!)! I only iced the top, not the sides, but it still looks lovely. And oh my, it simply tastes and smells of Christmas!! This is such a wonderful recipe, Nigella, unbelievably delicious, and so pleasingly easy to make. 10/10❤️

One of your recipes that I’ve made most frequently, Nigella - so simple and quick to prepare the night before, and mere minutes to complete the next day, prior to baking. This was the most recent one I made, and every single one has been a success!❤️

I made these yesterday, Nigella - a very enjoyable way to avoid darkening the door on a stormy afternoon! They are so gorgeous, much more flavourful than most shop bought ones, and as always a perfect and detailed recipe. Thank you as always!❤️

This is one of my all time favourite cakes to make - I simply love everything about it, from the technique, the ingredients, the smell, the texture, and the flavours. Just another perfect recipe, Nigella, and one that I’ve made countless times❤️

I felt sorry for her - my father hadn’t told her that my sister and I were going to be there, nor did he tell us that she was coming, so the initial look of abject horror and confusion on her face was no doubt mirrored by our own! But she seems very nice, and dealt admirably with the situation❤️

We met my dad’s new girlfriend (she’s 82) this evening, and she was full of praise for the bara brith I’d made him for his birthday - I told her I’m not a great baker, but I only ever use your recipes, because they’re so detailed and precise, and always turn out perfectly❤️

I made this pav a couple of years ago, Nigella, and it was sensational - so many flavours, all mingling merrily! Such a fabulous version, and, as always, a totally fail-safe recipe❤️

Done! They are very squidgy, but fabulously so - I only had the tiniest taste last night, as it was bedtime by the time they had cooled and I feared a sugar-rush(!), but I had one for breakfast earlier (the porridge is deferred to tea break time!), and it was heavenly. A perfect recipe as always❤️
